Feeling: Inspired

Walter Mitty is filling out his eHarmony profile and realized he hasn’t done anything of note with his life outside of his daydreams. After losing a negative the photographer he works with gave him, he goes on a mission across the world to find him. Next thing you know, his daydreams of adventure turn into his reality and he finds himself living out adventure after adventure.

Finding this movie peak Anthony Bourdain hyper fixation really did it for me. Suddenly feeling like need to hike up the Himalayas and jump out of a helicopter in Greenland. Moral of the story is, this movie makes you really just wanna get out of bed and do something with life.

I’m just as confused as Leonard

A man on the hunt to find his wife’s killer, but there’s a twist- he has short term memory loss.

This is definitely the most confusing movie I have ever seen, but at the same time my eyes were GLUED to the screen the entire time. The producers did an incredible job of making the audience feel as though they also have Leonard’s condition. If you like Shutter Island, I have a feeling you’ll like this one just as much. I will 100% be researching this nonstop for the next week. Side-note, Carrie-Anne Moss is BREATHTAKING.

Best plot twist of all time:

An ordinary guy stuck in a soul-sucking daily routine ends up meeting Tyler Durden- a wild, unpredictable stranger. After a freak accident causing the two to move in together, he finds himself to be the co-creator of an underground fight club that spirals into something way more destructive than he could ever imagine.

I understand you’re probably rolling your eyes with this one because of how many times you’ve heard a guy say on a first date that “this is the best movie of all time”. HOWEVER, hear me out. I could genuinely write a ten page paper on this. I have seen this movie about five times now, and each time I watch it I pick up on a new detail I missed the other times. The editing is the most creative out of anything I have ever seen, and The Dust Brothers deserved an Oscar for composing the soundtrack just for the final scene alone. It gives me chills every single time. I can confidently say it is 110% worth the hype.

This one has a kick to it.

A woman named Gia becomes one of America’s first supermodels- but addiction, heartbreak, and loneliness lead to a downward spiral of her life.

I could write a NOVEL on this movie. Devastating but beautiful, just like Gia. It’s so raw and emotional and shows the ugly side of the beauty industry. I can’t even tell you how hard this one made me cry. Angelina Jolie stuns me in every role she plays. I could not recommend it more.

Only the best show ever

This show is all about the Scott brothers- they share the same dad and the same basketball team, but not only do they have different moms, but polar opposite personalities. Love triangles, teenage angst, a hot cast, and a whole lot of good music- what more could you ask for in a show?

this show single-handedly changed the trajectory of my life. Brooke Davis will forever be the best character of any show ever, no exceptions. I adore her. I started rewatching before I even finished it because nothing can replicate how the first season makes me feel. If you haven’t watched it yet, prepare for your life to be changed.

The funniest show of all time

When Michael Bluth learns he won’t inherit his father’s company, he plans to walk away from the family he cannot stand—until his father is arrested, forcing him to hold the wildly dysfunctional Bluth family together as they try to maneuver the real world for the first time.

THIS SHOW IS SO PAINFULLY OVERLOOKED. I think I genuinely have seen every episode of the first three seasons about five times each. Between Buster randomly massaging people, everyone forgetting Ann’s name, Job’s $3,000 suit, and Tobias constantly “blue-ing himself”, I can never get sick of the running jokes this show has. The writers are GENIUS because the more you watch it the more you pick up on that you may not have noticed the first time, and it gets even funnier. Also, Michael Cera was the most adorable kid ever. You guys… seriously you HAVE to see this one. Dry humor wouldn’t exist without this show.

This is it.

A brilliant but troubled janitor at MIT has to finally start facing his past and believing in his worth after a life-changing friendship with a therapist who refuses to give up on him.

I would not be me without this movie. If you take one thing out of your experience clicking on this website it should be this: WATCH. GOOD. WILL. HUNTING. Even if you have watched it before. Watch it again. Yeah that’s it. There is not a movie on Earth that has ever or will ever even begin to compete with this one. Every piece of life advice you will ever need comes from Robin Williams’ monologues. “I gotta go see about a girl” yeah okay thanks I’m bawling now. SKYLAR MY SWEET GIRL?? I just want to give everyone in this movie a hug. Robin Williams was the best person to ever exist. I’m gonna stop writing about it now because I’m getting choked up. Anyways yes, most life-changing and motivating movie anyone could ever make the choice of watching.
